Women’s U23 Thunderbirds Compete in Territorial Event

[MILTON, MA] The Midwest Thunderbird U23 Women are in Milton, Massachusetts this weekend to compete in USA Rugby (and the New England Free Jackets) women’s U23 Tournament. This territorial all-star tournament is important for developing high-level players, especially for those that don’t play in high-level programs. Both the USA 15s and 7s Head Coaches, Sione Fukofuka and Emily Bydwell, respectively, will be in attendance. This year, the Midwest team will be coached by Sue Whitwell of the Metropolis Valkyries, Xane Gerasimo of the Twin Cities Amazons, and Jamie Frech from the University of Michigan.
