Week 7 RXO Update

crusaders-forge-2

September 28, 2026

We continue to see issues with teams failing to properly enter substitutions in Rugby Xplorer Games or close matches after the final whistle. These requirements have been addressed multiple times, and all teams must correct their reporting practices immediately. Accurate and timely match administration protects player eligibility, preserves reliable competition records, and helps prevent unauthorized changes. Failure to comply may result in penalties including loss of league standings points or an administrative forfeit.

SUBSTITUIONS NOT PROPERLY RECORDED

When a player appears in a match but is not recorded as entering through a substitution, the player may not receive proper participation credit. This creates an eligibility issue and can affect the accuracy of official records. The following teams failed to properly report substitutions:

  • Cincinnati Wolfhounds MD1
  • Cincinnati Wolfhounds MD3
  • CRC Westside Condors
  • Findlay Scars MD3
  • Fox Valley Māori MD2
  • Indianapolis Impalas MD3
  • Iowa Falls MD4
  • Oconomowoc WD2
  • Toledo Celtics MD3

MATCHES NOT PROPERLY CLOSED

Completed matches must be closed promptly in Rugby Xplorer. Leaving a match open keeps it unlocked throughout the weekend and creates an avoidable risk of unauthorized changes or tampering. The following teams failed to properly close their matches after the conclusion:

  • Columbus Squirrels WD2
  • Dayton Area WD2
  • Lake County Coyotes MD2
  • Milwaukee MD2

WEBSITE UPDATE

  1. The Union removed the graphics located on the 2026 Midwest Playoffs Page. The graphics indicated incorrect seedings for a number of divisions.
  2. Added the ability to incorporate league standing points deductions in the standings due to competition sanctions. This is important to ensure the standings on the website are accurately reflective after competition sanctions are implemented.
